Hemant joined India Quotient with the excitement that India has the opportunity to leapfrog innovation across multiple sectors and lead the way for innovation across the world. He loves the uncanny ability of the founders to identify insights that matter and to combine those with diligent, thoughtful execution to build category-leading businesses.

Prior to India Quotient, he worked at AU Small Finance Bank in the CEO’s office which provided him with a bird’s eye view of the strategies employed to build a digital-led bank, enable financial inclusion and the role of technology in the implementation of these strategies.

Hemant is a commerce graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and has cleared two levels of the CFA program. He has also worked at Byte Dance and Ogilvy in the past which has allowed him to develop a non-finance lens. He is a self-proclaimed street and junk food connoisseur and an ardent Manchester United supporter.
